If your child is in the care of someone other than yourself it is important that they are prepared and educated on what to do in an emergency. Speak to the person in charge to discuss the allergy, your child’s understanding of their allergy and what to do in an emergency.

It is also important that your child is fully aware of their allergy, spend time discussing their allergy and ways in which they need to minimise risks when they are away from home. Also ensure their Jext is carried with them at all times and is easily accessible. Don’t forget to register the Jext with the expiry alert service so that you are aware when the pen is due to expire.
